Instructor Changes
The Swim Studio realizes that we are dealing with the 3 most important things in your life; your time, your money and most of all your children. Our teaching program is designed around giving each individual exactly what he/she needs at that exact time. Our coaches work as a team. It is common for the manager to make the decision to do a coaching change to help a child get through any roadblocks they may be having. The team coaching environment
is intentional as it provides multiple adults communicating the same information to each child. This deepens the child’s acceptance of the Information. A child needs consistency in communication and information. If someone has multiple sources communicating the same information he/she begins to accept, learn, and use the skills accordingly. In the past we tried to keep consistent coaches but the more we reviewed our practices and results we found that those children stuck on a single coach week in and week out actually have stagnation. We are capable of getting a child not only safe in the water but growing as individuals because of our methods, culture, and encouragement.
Timeliness
Please arrive early enough so that your student has time to stop by the bathroom, get changed and get equipment ready before class begins.
